CHARACTER
Name: Makoto Kino
Canon: Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon
Age: 14 (or whatever age all the rest of the sailor moon ppl choose to be)
Demigod/Hunter/Satyr/Nymph: Demigod, daughter of Jupiter, legacy of Bellona
Demigod abilities: manipulation of clouds, flight, GREAT CONTROL over the weather, wind, lightning bolts and thunder, hurricanes, esp tornadoes, an immunity to electricity, static shocks, and her control of air waves is really terrible. she keeps trying to work on it but she's just not getting that much better.
Personality: Makoto is a fighter. THROUGH AND THROUGH. She will not put up with your shit. She's also FIERCELY protective of her friends, and will go to great lengths to keep them safe, or keep them from harm (whether it be physical or emotional). She's an extremely tall girl, and thus has felt pressure to be strong and manly -- many of the girls at her all girls school projected that image on her, and she soon felt boxed in by it. In reality, she loves girly things like cooking, pink, frilly clothes, gardening, flower arranging, and doing her nails.
AU History: Makoto was raised by her single mother, and is thus fiercely independent. Her mother never said much about her father, just that he was as tenacious and strong as she was, and that no, it was probably best if they never met. She continued saying that, right up until a sudden freak plane crash that left Makoto all alone, with a small pension to attend an all girls boarding school at the age of 9. About six months after she turned 10, Lupa came for her, and brought her to train. She found she was as adept as fighting with demigod weapons as she was with her fists (the neighboring boys school wasn't as appreciative of her height as the girls were).
I EITHER NEED SOMEONE TO BE HORRIBLE AND BREAK HER HEART AT CAMP or one of those awful boys at the boys school horrifically turned down her confession. Probably the latter.
Counselor: She's not a leader, so she hasn't taken any kind of position of power at Camp Jupiter.

Iris Message:
[ she's looking fiercely into the camera. pissed off. ]
Okay, whichever of you freaking Camp Half-Blood halfwits decided to prank the Hunters of Artemis had better get your butts over here so your ass can say hello to my fist. Do you hear me?
[ she smacks her left fist into the palm of her right hand for extra effect ]
I'm serious. I don't know how Chiron handles punishment here, but I don't take kindly to hurting innocent young girls.
Even if those innocent young girls are actually like, 300 years old. It's not cool either way, okay? So apologize. Apologize publicly and kindly, and there won't be any need for boots to asses, mkay?
Third Person Log:
She sizes up her opponents. Sparring at Camp Half-Blood is different, less organized, less rational. She has to be ready for what she'll least expect if she wants to win.
No matter. They've rarely fought a daughter of Zeus before. There's no way they are prepared for her static shock.
She jumps back and forth, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. Stretches her neck. Waits to see if she can intimidate them with her height and with her focus.
Makoto isn't sure why she even agreed to this fight. Did she feel like she had something to prove? Without Jason Grace here, she feels unbalanced. Uneven. Unsure of herself. She had leant on him for so long, she'd actually forgotten her independence.
Ugh. Disgusting. Her mother would be so disappointed.
Hell, even her father would probably be disappointed.
She makes up her mind in that moment. She's winning this fight, and she's learning to live without Jason freaking Grace.
